Admission to

St. Paul and St. Timothy’s Catholic Infant School

Applications for Admission to the Reception Year 2026 will be available from Monday 8th September 2025

 Admission forms for children to enter the Reception classes in September 2026 will be available from Monday 8th September 2025. This is for children whose birthday falls between 1st September 2021 and 31st August 2022                           

In accordance with the Liverpool Education Authority’s coordinated admissions arrangements parents must complete the Liverpool Education Authority Common Preference form on- line and the school’s Supplementary Faith form as the governors use this information to determine admission.

All Common Preference forms must be returned electronically to the Liverpool City Council and the Supplementary Faith form returned in person to school before the 15th of January 2026.

Supplementary Faith Forms will be available from the school office and should be returned to school with the additional information required (see below) by 15th January 2026.

 Additional Information Required

Proof of address will be required, in the form of a council tax bill, mortgage statement, or recent utility bill (within 3 months).

This will need to be brought in with your Supplementary Faith Form.

If your child has been baptised in St Paul or St Timothy’s church we will require the date of baptism. If your child has been baptised at any other church proof of baptism will be required. This will need to be brought in with your Supplementary Faith Form.

 Please note that our criteria will apply as of 15th January 2026. This will include the date your child was baptised, children will need to be baptised prior to application closing date to meet criteria 2,3,4 and 6 of our admission policy.

Appeals

If your child is not allocated a place at the school you prefer, you have the right to appeal the decision of the admissions authority.
