Liverpool Parents and Carers – LivPaC works in partnership with parents and local organisations to help services run more effectively for our children, young people and families.
Tuebrook and West Derby Children’s Centre One of Liverpool’s Children Centres, Tuebrook & West Derby offers a variety of services to support families with children 0-5 years old in the local area. With child development and child protection being the primary focus, the children’s centre also offers support around SEN, domestic abuse, employment and training, parenting programmes.
ADDvanced Solutions – ADDvanced Solutions Community Network encourages, equips and empowers children, young people and their families living with neurodevelopmental conditions, learning difficulties and associated mental health needs. Our engaging, community-based, learning, coaching and mentoring programmes will help you and your family to better recognise, understand and meet your individual needs, enabling you to manage the day-to-day challenges.
Liverpool ASD Training Team – We facilitate pre and post-diagnosis training via Zoom and face-to-face classroom sessions. We facilitate National Autistic Society Early bird courses via Zoom and face-to-face. We provide email support and 1:1 Zoom/telephone consultation for parents to discuss any questions or concerns they may have about their child. (no diagnosis is needed to access this support) We facilitate question & answer sessions throughout schools in Liverpool (primary and secondary)

Disability Living Allowance (DLA) for children- Disability Living Allowance (DLA) for children may help with the extra costs of looking after a child who: is under 16 has difficulties walking or needs much more looking after than a child of the same age who does not have a disability

Sendiass – Are you looking for information, advice or support about matters relating to your child’s special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND)? SENDIASS offers support to parents and carers of children and young people with SEND (0-25) in the Liverpool and Knowsley Area. We can also support your child or young person to access the service independently.
Barnardos Action for Young Carers – Barnardo’s Action With Young Carers Liverpool, is a city-wide service. A young carer is a child or young person under the age of 18 years, who provides unpaid care, assistance or support to an adult family member who has a physical illness/disability including mental ill-health, sensory disability or has a problematic use of drugs or alcohol.
